After being on the scene for a couple of decades, this is a band who have carefully crafted both their sound and performance. Delivering an amazingly tight sounding set, it’s no wonder that the crowd grows quickly around the stage, with everyone eager to watch this band and take part. With hair flying both on stage and off it’s no surprise as a steady flow of crowd surfers make their way to the front. The band’s original style of music mixing lyrics steeped in history and a beat to bang your head to is a perfect combination tor the crowd ready to throw themselves into the music.
After a slight delay, the intro track plays, telling a tale, and there’s no mistaking that it’s time for Enslaved to hit the stage. Their unique blend of black metal and storytelling is the right combination for the crowd today. From the more melodic guitar tones to the driving beats and growling vocals all-encompassing enchanting tales of adventures, it’s no surprise that for many, these were a must-see band of the weekend.
