About Black Satellite: Hailing from NYC, Black Satellite, led by indomitable frontwoman Larissa Vale, is creating waves in the rock scene with a sound that’s dark, edgy, and distinctly their own. Fusing industrial and metal influences, their music transcends conventional boundaries solidifying their place in the genre. The band continues to break new ground through ceaseless hard work and non-stop touring, showcasing their dedication both on and off stage. Black Satellite has garnished attention from press outlets such as Kerrang!, Billboard, Metal Hammer, Huffington Post, Revolver, Loudwire, Knotfest, and Alternative Press. During the pandemic, unable to tour extensively to support their debut album Endless, the duo released a cover of Rammstein’s hit “Sonne” to critical acclaim with Revolver Magazine describing the track as “a masterclass in metal covers.”The band have also paid homage to Type O Negative, sharing covers of “My Girlfriend’s Girlfriend” and “I Don’t Want To Be Me.” The band recently concluded writing and recording their second record, Aftermath, mixed by veteran producer Ben Grosse (Marilyn Manson, Breaking Benjamin, Filter) with tracks produced by Kane Churko (Papa Roach, In This Moment). Though the release date is still under wraps, fans have had some early insight with singles “Broken,” “Void,” and their latest track, “Downfall”. Black Satellite have honed their live chops touring with a diverse collection of artists including John 5, Nita Strauss, Cradle Of Filth, Cold, Marilyn Manson, Fozzy, Drowning Pool, DevilDriver, and Wednesday 13.
