BLACK SATELLITE UNVEIL POWERFUL NEW SINGLE “DOWNFALL”

Rising metal visionaries Black Satellite have released their haunting new single “Downfall,” available now on all streaming platforms and accompanied by a striking official video.

Hailed by Alternative Press as one of the “12 Bands You Need To Know,” Black Satellite continue to carve their own path in the metal world, fusing industrial grit with gothic atmosphere to craft a sound that is as intense as it is unforgettable.

“We really wanted to write a song that casts a light on the complexities of struggling with mental health and its impact on those around you,” the band shares. “The song is written from the perspective of someone watching the closest person to them literally drowning in despair and feeling almost helpless, like you can’t do anything for them. It’s kind of the sentiment of ‘If you’re going down, then I guess I am too.’ Essentially giving in to the fight because it’s completely eaten you alive to the point where there’s nothing left.”

“Downfall” was recorded and produced by acclaimed producer Kane Churko (In This Moment, Five Finger Death Punch, Papa Roach) at The Hideout Studio in Henderson, Nevada.

The band recently concluded writing and recording their second record, Aftermath, mixed by veteran producer Ben Grosse (Marilyn Manson, Breaking Benjamin, Filter) with tracks produced by Kane Churko (Papa Roach, In This Moment). Though the release date is still under wraps, fans have had some early insight with singles “Broken,” “Void,” and their latest track, “Downfall”.

Black Satellite have honed their live chops touring with a diverse collection of artists including John 5, Nita Strauss, Cradle Of Filth, Cold, Marilyn Manson, Fozzy, Drowning Pool, DevilDriver, and Wednesday 13.
