It is not uncommon for challenging situations to produce something unexpected. During the last year’s endless uncertainty, supressed anxiety and ongoing quarantine, Orfeas and Fanis put their creative energy to work, having no particular goal in mind. Being isolated in different cities, many riffs, drum patterns and ideas were exchanged, channelling their influences and setting up more and more death/thrash/hardcore songs. The high-energy tracks, featuring fierce guitars, ravaging drumming and growling vocals, getting norms and attitude from metal to punk and everything in between, were not made with an album release in mind. Their purpose was to express musically the sense of fear and loss in the way the creators experienced it. Upon completion of more and more of them, though, the album began to take shape and sharing it with the world seemed absolutely reasonable. “End Of All Days” is the first video and single out of “Division 631”, the debut album of Bitter Loss, out on May 1st, 2021. 631 is the number of kilometres between Thessaloniki and Nafplio, the cities where the band members live and this is the first step to bring them and everyone who will share their vision closer together. | |||||||||||||||||
