Belsonic and Emerge Music Festival Raise over £15,000 for Cancer Fund for Children

Two of Northern Ireland’s largest outdoor music events have collectively raised over £15,000 for Cancer Fund for Children through public donations this year across both events. The long-standing relationship has been in place since 2008 and continues to support the vital work of the Charity.

Cormac McMullan (Cancer Fund for Children) said; “We are so thankful to Alan, his team and the general public who donated at Belsonic and EMERGE concerts throughout 2024, raising an incredible £15,133.83. Every year Cancer Fund for Children provides emotional and therapeutic support to over 1,500 children and young people to help them better cope with the impact of cancer. We can’t deliver this without the support of longstanding charity partners like Belsonic and EMERGE. In Northern Ireland we currently receive no government funding, and we are so grateful to Belsonic, EMERGE and the NI public for continuing to raise vital funds to help us ensure that no child has to face cancer alone.”

Alan Simm(Promoter) commented; “We have worked with the “Cancer Fund for Children” now for many years and have the greatest respect and admiration for the good work they do in the community helping families dealing with the most challenging of circumstances. We’d also like to thank Belsonic and EMERGE customers for their appreciation and generosity in contributing to this great cause.”
