Lindsay Ell – “It’s Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas”
The most nominated female at this year’s Canadian Country Music Awards with five nominations, Ell instinctually reimagines the classic holiday tune, “It’s Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas.” Flaunting her guitar prowess, she kicks off the song with an acoustic guitar solo and closes with spirited electric guitar work. Ell modernises the number, pairing a bluesy vocal with Country instrumentation. Listen HERE.
Everette – “Rockin’ Around The Christmas Tree”
Accompanying Sara Evans on her “At Christmas” Tour this winter, Everette’s signature Rock-n-roll twang and bluesy acoustics breathe new life into the fun and beloved holiday classic “Rockin Around The Christmas Tree.” Putting their eccentric, honky-tonk soaked spin on the infectious, upbeat groove, it’s sure to put even the biggest Grinch in the holiday spirit. Listen HERE.
Drake Milligan – “Cowgirl For Christmas”
Drake Milligan expertly showcases his aptitude for “George Strait’s storytelling” and “Elvis Presley’s charm” (Sounds Like Nashville) in his new honky tonk, western-inspired holiday groove, “Cowgirl For Christmas” that he co-wrote with producer Brandon Hood. Filled with masterful picking and a frolicking, fun-spirited chorus, this cowboy will gladly hang up his spurs to get a “Cowgirl For Christmas.” Listen HERE.
Lainey Wilson – “Christmas Cookies”
On the heels of her monumental No. 1 hit song “Things A Man Oughta Know,” Wilson’s take on George Strait’s 1999 “Christmas Cookies” is an adorable vintage Christmas tune, transporting you back in time to a picturesque Norman Rockwell Christmas in the South. With her bell bottoms figuratively covered in tinsel, Wilson delivers the partially spoken song with a believable cheekiness that channels that iconic Dolly Parton sass. Watch Wilson top her signature bell bottoms with a baker’s apron as she brings the song to life HERE.
All four holiday hits are available now.
ABOUT LINDSAY ELL:
Lauded as “one of the most exciting and talented young artists in Country music” (Forbes), Lindsay Ell is a triple threat: accomplished musician, unique vocalist and awe-inspiring songwriter. The Calgary native learned to play guitar while traveling with her father to Country-Bluegrass camps as a young girl. Ell honed her craft as a musical stylist and songwriter after being discovered by BTO and The Guess Who’s Randy Bachman (“American Woman” / “Taking Care of Business”) who discovered her at the age of 13. The multi-instrumentalist was soon touring alongside the likes of Luke Bryan, Buddy Guy and Keith Urban. Ell also shared the stage with distinguished Country group, Little Big Town, along with other powerhouse female artists in one the biggest moments of the 2019 CMA Awards where she was also nominated for Musical Event of the Year. Ell’s nominations do not stop there. She was nominated for ACM New Female Artist of the Year in 2019 and 2020 and ACM Music Event of the Year in 2020. In 2020 she won the CCMA Interactive Artist or Group of the Year award for the second year in a row. These wins and nominations are well earned after Ell exhilarated audiences as part of Keith Urban’s Graffiti U World Tour, Brantley Gilbert’s Not Like Us Tour, Brad Paisley’s Weekend Warrior World Tour and now on Blake Shelton’s 2021 Friends and Heroes Tour. Ell’s first full-length album The Project debuted at No. 1 on the Country Album Sales Chart and was named Billboard’s “Best Country Album” of 2017. “What Happens In a Small Town,” Lindsay’s duet with Brantley Gilbert, claimed the top spot at Country radio, marking her first No. 1 in the US. She has two No. 1 singles under her belt in Canada. Her critically-acclaimed sophomore album, heart theory was nominated for Country Album of the Year at Canada’s prestigious Juno Awards and she is nominated in five categories at this year’s CCMA Awards.

ABOUT EVERETTE:
Rooted in contemporary country, rock & roll, southern storytelling, and heartland hooks, Everette’s music unfolds like the soundtrack to a backyard party where the kegs are tapped, the music is loud, and everyone’s on the guest list. Signed to Broken Bow Records, the duo was selected for CMA’s second EVER KixStart Class as one of the three acts chosen out of nearly one hundred candidates. Named after George Clooney’s philosophy-spouting, folk-singing character in O Brother, Where Art Thou? — the guys honed their craft in Bowling Green, Kentucky, where they cut their teeth playing four shows a week while attending Western Kentucky University. There they attracted a diverse community of fans and friends from teachers to hippies to working professionals. Learning that they fit in with everyone and everyone fits in with them, this helped whittle Everette’s salt-of-the-earth songwriting and top-shelf musicianship which soon led them to Nashville. Already accumulating rave critical review, Everette’s music has been described as “high-energy grooves and airtight harmonies” by Billboard, “soulful, laid-back twang-pop with clever lyrics and catchy hooks” by Rolling Stone and “… laid-back couple of dudes who blend gritty rhythms with wavering harmonica and mesmerising slide guitar” by Taste of Country. Their debut studio album Kings of the Dairy Queen Parking – Side A is out now.

ABOUT DRAKE MILLIGAN:
At only 19 years old, Drake Milligan moved from Fort Worth, Texas to Music City. Armed with an appreciation for the history of country music, Milligan listened intently during co-writes and recording sessions, where songwriters taught him how to tell a story, legendary producers taught him how to use the mics and studio as a vehicle for his voice, seasoned musicians were willing to back the new guy, and his country music heroes shared insightful advice on how to seamlessly shift from the studio and the stage. Now at 23 years old, wisdom instilled, he’s ready to introduce himself to the world with the release of his debut EP, Drake Milligan, out now. The five tracks are his debut not only as a songwriter but an artist, who works tirelessly to hone his craft. Co-writing every song on the EP, he tapped into different themes to showcase his songwriting talent and vocal chops. Milligan layers the fiddle and steel in the trouble-drowning, alcohol-soaked “Over Drinkin’ Under Thinkin’” and emphasises his fast-talking mastery in the upbeat, rebellious “Sounds Like Something I’d Do.” But it’s not all up-tempo toe-tappers. It’s in the ballads that he really showcases his deep, smooth as silk vocals. “Don’t Look Down” has Milligan painting a picture of falling in love on a dance floor, defying gravity thanks to the honky-tonk’s trusty old jukebox, and “She” is a beautifully simple but emotive depiction of a lovesick boy, listing off everything he loves about a girl. Produced by award-winning industry icon Tony Brown and songwriter/producer Brandon Hood, Drake Milligan’s self-titled EP is out now from BBR Music Group / Stoney Creek Records.

ABOUT LAINEY WILSON:
“One of Country music’s most promising young stars,” (Whiskey Riff) Lainey Wilson is the total package. Earning the enthusiasm of the industry, winning MusicRow’s “Discovery Artist of the Year” award and being named as an “Artist to Watch” by Spotify, Pandora, The Boot, and Sounds Like Nashville (to name a few) and included in CMT’s “Next Women of Country” and “Listen Up” programs, the Louisiana native is one of Nashville’ most buzzed-about new artists, garnering early praise for her “unabashedly down-home and unflappably worldly” (NPR) style and exhibiting “just enough scars and pragmatism to write great, universal country songs” (Taste of Country). Her music has already been featured in the hit drama series Yellowstone three times, graced the Grand Ole Opry stage and was covered in publications like Forbes, Rolling Stone, New York Times, Billboard and NPR. With a rockstar stage presence, her artistry has taken her across the globe, performing for sold-out crowds throughout the US, UK, and Germany with notable names like Jason Aldean, Hardy, Justin Moore, Tyler Farr, Ashley McBryde, Randy Houser, Josh Turner and more.
The “vocalist of unmatched talent, humbled by her characteristic humor and wit,” (American Songwriter) left her small farming community in a camper trailer to chase her dreams and has been carving her own unique place in the country music landscape ever since. Creating a sound and style all her own with “Bell Bottom Country,” which blends traditional Country with a modern yet retro flare, Lainey is a fresh, fierce voice in Nashville. A prolific writer (having co-writer credits on songs by artists including Luke Combs), Lainey shares her feelings, stories, experiences and understandings through her music. Described as “a cross between easy listening and hard truths” by The Boot, Lainey’s music (and character) is largely driven by her values and self-conviction. Her new album, produced by GRAMMY Award-winning mastermind Jay Joyce (Eric Church, Miranda Lambert), Sayin’ What I’m Thinkin,’ was released in February 2021 via BBR Music Group/ Broken Bow Records to incredible praise, with many labelling it as one of the best albums of the year. Following the sentiment of the title track, the entire album is rooted in authenticity, honesty and thoughtfulness—representative of Lainey’s own character. The album includes her No. 1 radio single and “song every country fan needs to hear” (Taste of Country), “Things A Man Oughta Know.” With more than 146 million streams, the song is a fan and critic favourite, spurring a flurry of activity across social media as well as included in “must listen” lists in publications like NPR and Rolling Stone.
