ABOUT DISLOCATOR
Formed from the ashes of Andy’s former band, Dislocator burst onto the scene back in 2006, quickly becoming a staple band of the local shows, and after three years without a permanent lead guitarist, the band were joined by Rich.
Since becoming a four-piece the band went from strength to strength, with local festival dates (including M-Fest, Weston PHest, Coalfields Festival, Live In Barnsley, Full Thrash Assault), and the launch of debut album “Devouring the World”. Taking a brief break due to parenthood, Dislocator came back stronger than ever, and with more drive to play than ever before, venturing far and wide in support of the Plague of Man album, and playing alongside metal heavyweights Diamond Head, Gama Bomb and Evile. After spending most of covid in lockdown writing new material, the band recorded twenty-five tracks between August 2021 and April 2022, which are currently in the mixing process. Sprinkling releases as they fall starting with a Christmas single (Now I Have a Machine Gun Ho Ho Ho) in December 2021, Knives Out (Moshin’ The Roof On Mix) in April 2023, Eternally Condemned (September 2023), and Limbo (June 2024).
Dislocator aim to spread their reach even further afield in 2025, with a new album scheduled to drop at the end of 2024 being the springboard.
