BAGS OF BLOOD
Emerge Without Warning  With Ferocious EP
‘If You’re Not Fucking Angry Then You Haven’t Been Paying Attention’ Out Now
There are moments when music doesn’t politely arrive, but erupts, with no buildup, no permission and no explanation. Just impact.

BAGS OF BLOOD have done exactly that.
With no prior announcement and almost no traceable footprint, the band has surfaced with a blistering three-track EP titled ‘If You’re Not Fucking Angry Then You Haven’t Been Paying Attention’. Clocking in at just under five minutes, the release is as immediate as it is uncompromising, with each track hitting hard and disappearing before you’ve had time to catch your breath.
This is not a band interested in scenes, alliances, or approval. There is no careful positioning here, only raw intent. The result is a furious, stripped-back assault that feels less like a release and more like a reaction. A response to a world unravelling in real time, watched passively through glowing screens.
At the centre of it all is Paul Catten (Medulla Nocte), whose presence alone hints at the weight behind the project. Beyond that, details remain scarce, with a sense that not everything or everyone involved is being laid bare just yet. Listeners may find themselves recognising more than they expect.
Released via Bandcamp today, April 1st – a date associated with misdirection – the EP arrives alongside a strictly limited run of cassette tapes, available through a short, unannounced flash sale.
No rollout. No campaign. Just noise, anger, and something lurking beneath the surface.
Bags of Blood aren’t asking for your attention. They’re demanding you join in their anger.
