Melbourne, Australia’s Deliquesce are crafting frantic, brutal, technical death metal that will rattle your brain. Formed in 2019, the band made waves with 2023’s Cursed With Malevolence (DAZE) and now mark their return with Saviour / Enslaver out July 25th through BTK Recordings (USA) and Lacerated Enemy Records (Europe). Then ten songs on the album’s boast titles like “Cryptobotanical Anatomy” and “Symbiotic Felonious Carnage,” preluding to an unnerving and massive sonic blast.

The first listen comes in single “Compound Dysphoria” featuring Cody Davidson and Devin Swank of Ohio death metal revellers Sanguisugabogg. James Cooper’s dense, snarling vocal delivery rides along complex rhythms and winding riffs. An electrifying guitar solo from Davidson brings added oomph while Swank’s guest vocals add to the terror of the track.

Cooper shares:

“Lyrically, the track is all about the struggle of being trapped within the confines of your own mind, and the various mental health issues that can arise from such.”

You can stream “Compound Dysphoria” HERE and preorder Saviour / Enslaver HERE. Full tracklist and artwork below.

Deliquesce is James Cooper – Vocals , Adrian Cappelletti – Guitars/Backing Vocals, Armando Wall – Bass/Backing Vocals, and Lyle Cooper – Session Drums.
