Australian alternative rock quintet Nautical Mile have dropped a hook-drenched cover of Uncle Kracker’s “Follow Me”. The Pop-Goes-Punk style cover of the 2000 classic, is out now on Manic Kat Records. Watch the music video HERE. Since 2018, Western Australia’s Nautical Mile have immersed listeners in an urgent and heart-on-sleeve sound, taking 00s alternative rock influence and splaying it with the best of modern day pop-punk. Nodding to the likes of The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus and fellow countrymen Trophy Eyes, 2019 saw the five-piece hit form at the first time of asking, with the release of debut full-length, ‘The Only Way is Through’. 2020 would see Nautical Mile catch the attention of US indie/punk label Manic Kat Records, with big single “Purgatory” whetting the appetite for the blistering and emotive display of cascading melodic rock on the band’s latest EP ‘Embers’.
