Asbury Park NJ’s LOST IN SOCIETY Release New Single “Pascal and SabineProduced by Pete Steinkopf (The Bouncing Souls)New EP ‘The Distribution of Comfort’ Coming August 9 |
In 2024, Asbury Park, NJ’s Lost In Society celebrates 20 years of musical collaboration between band members Zach Moyle and Nick Ruroede. Teaming up once more with California’s Wiretap Records, LIS remains dedicated to producing fresh tracks. Their latest offerings include the June 2024 release “Wake Up” and the new single “Pascal and Sabine.” Look forward to their upcoming ‘The Distribution of Comfort’ EP slated for release on August 9th. The new song finds the band once again teaming up with The Bouncing Souls guitarist Pete Steinkopf for production and features new drummer Gee Lima and guitarist Tom Blaney. Of the new track, bassist Nick Ruroede says, “This song got written at some point in 2021 and our friend Sam came up with the rock’n’roll riff. He saved the voice memo file as “Pascal and Sabine” which is a restaurant down the street from our rehearsal space. It was originally just a filler name. Eventually the song ended up telling the story of a relationship so the name ended up sticking from the original voice note demo.” Stream “Pascal and Sabine” on Punk Rock Theory: https://www.punkrocktheory.
