Leeds-based alt-rock force Artio have today released a brand new single, ‘Let It Be A Void’. They’ve also announced a UK headline tour to celebrate the upcoming release of their new album, ‘Soul Rot’, on January 21st via LAB Records. The Soul Rot UK Tour, kicks off in Nottingham on March 11th, taking in shows in London, Bristol, Glasgow and Leeds, before ending in Manchester on March 21st. Speaking of the new single, vocalist Rae Brazill shares, “Let It Be a void is about refusing to let other peoples ignorant hatred and detest of their own existence get in the way of mine. If you refuse to see me as I am, then I will no longer expend energy to cater to what you want me to be.” Speaking of the album, Rae adds, “this is the first record I’ve done where I look inwards rather than out, dissecting my own behaviour and how I perceive the world in its liminal state of ending.” |
