Today, Canadian indie/rock favourites Arkells announce the Autumn 2026 UK leg of their Between Us Tour in support of their latest album.

“This past spring, before Between Us came out, we did a handful of dates across the pond. The shows were small and sweaty––exactly the kinds of rooms where you test out new material,” says frontman, Max Kerman. “Since then, the record has taken on a life of its own, and we need to come back. This time with our friends Phantom Planet joining the bill. One for the books.”

Arkells have been touring steadily across the UK, EU and North America since they began to introduce their latest album. Arkells’ most recent tour dates previewing Between Us have largely gotten up-close and personal, striving to create unique experiences in a variety of settings. Their spring 2026 stops in London and Manchester sold-out immediately.

Arkells’ new album Between Us is produced by LA based John Congleton (St. Vincent, Death Cab for Cutie, Wallows). Comprised of 11 tracks, Between Us includes collaborative standouts, like the politically charged #1 alt-radio single, “Money” (featuring Portugal. The Man), the disco-esque “What’s On Your Mind?,” featuring San Francisco’s chill-wave kings Poolside, and the breezy tune, “Ride” (featuring GROUPLOVE) which they took to the stage at JUNO Awards in the group’s hometown of Hamiton, ON at the TD Coliseum. The band performed the upbeat track amidst a hyper-realistic viewer engaged set that integrated greenery and Truman-esque break in the fourth wall bike riding.

About ARKELLS:

Whether they’re rocking stadiums, making a beeline for the discotheque, or gathering around the campfire, the implicit message of Arkells are always the same: everyone is welcome here. Since the beginning, Arkells have never wavered in their mission to be the house band that soundtracks the greatest nights of your life and emotional support in your darkest hours. Thanks to their steady and eclectic ethos, Arkells have continued to evolve musically, while making everyone feel right at home. As one of the most heavily rotated acts on radio, and all-time record holders of the JUNO Award for “Group of the Year,” Arkells have extended their reach beyond borders by infiltrating all corners of pop culture; from global sports telecasts and top-tier video games to the stages of Coachella and Bonnaroo. The band’s longevity is ultimately a function of their commitment to never coasting on past glories and to always live completely in the moment. Even through their impressive history together, Arkells still approach every gig as an opportunity to prove themselves to the unconverted; as they’re fond of saying, each time they take the stage, “we understand the assignment.”  The first rule of rock ‘n’ roll is to play every show like it’s your last—but as Arkells prove night after night, it’s just as important to hold onto the unbridled energy and enthusiasm of your first. With their latest record, Between Us, the band achieves the impossible: how do we make our new songs feel like the past and the future at the same time? It’s 11 songs of their best songwriting to date, produced by legendary producer John Congleton (St. Vincent, Death Cab for Cutie, Wallows).

About PHANTOM PLANET:

Formed in 1994, Phantom Planet is a Los Angeles band that has released five albums of melodic, energetic Alt Rock. Helping to define the early 00s music landscape, they’re best known for writing anthemic hits like “California” (theme of the TV series: The O.C.) and their wildly exciting live shows with deep fan engagement. The band has entertained the masses through a combination of stellar musicianship & compelling songwriting, which now spans over 30yrs. After a short hiatus in 2008, the band reunited in 2019, continuing to evolve their sound while maintaining their signature energy and melodic sensibilities. Phantom Planet is comprised of Alex Greenwald, Sam Farrar, Darren Robinson, and Andrew Parker. Phantom Planet is no longer missing; they are ready to reclaim their position in the music industry with a new album in 2026.
