Argentinian soul singer-songwriter Florencia Andrada (recently signed to My Grito Industries) has released a new single/video “Dueños del Terror.” Stream the video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch? It’s called ‘Dueños del Terror’or ‘Owners of Terror.” Here in Buenos Aires some of the richest people started to complain about the restrictions. The song talks about how even in the darkest times some people are unable to put themselves in someone else’s shoes, to have some empathy. Teachers, doctors, the homeless, the people that live in the poorest neighborhoods where the most affected as always but the ones complaining were the rich ones, that always blame the poorest for all the problems in the world while they continue stacking their millions. “I’m a little bit angry and disappointed as I sing the song,” she adds. “It’s a very special song for me because it’s the last one I recorded with my dearest friend and sound engineer Ariel Feder who died in April 2021 due to Covid-19, so this adds an additional meaning to the song.” Follow on Socials: Facebook – www.facebook.com/ Instagram – www.instagram.com/florencia_ Bio: Florencia Andrada is a singer, songwriter from Buenos Aires, Argentina. For the past 10 years, Florencia’s musical search has seen inspiration from the 70s and 60s Soul, R&B with a contemporary touch, freshness and identity. Her incredible songwriting and dynamic voice have made her one to watch in the growing Argentina soul community. A sound inspired by Daptone’esque soul, with 70’s, 60’s R&B with a modern touch. Adding in her distinctive Spanish lyrics, make Florencia’s music even more unique. Releasing two albums independently: “Otra Realidad” (2012) and “A Pesar de la Tormenta” (2016), both produced jointly with Argentine musician and producer Julio Fabiani. “A Pesar de la Tormenta” had guests such as: Hugo Lobo (trumpeter and founder of Dancing Mood) Germán Weidemer (pianist and producer of Andrés Calamaro) and Binky Griptite (stable guitarist of Sharon Jones and The Dap Kings). In 2018 she made her first promotional tour in the United States, with concerts in New York and Los Angeles. In 2019, the soul-singer released two singles: “Por Amor” and “ Reírme con Vos” produced together with Julio Fabiani and his label Sureños. Recently signed with Los Angeles-based, My Grito Industries, Florencia made her label debut with the single “El Imperio” earlier this year.
