IN THE NURSERY
In The Nursery were formed in Sheffield in 1981 by identical twin brothers Klive and Nigel Humberstone. Quickly outgrowing initial post-punk inspired influences, their first decade saw them develop into a neo-classical darkwave outfit with a highly cinematic sound, facets that have continued to serve them well to the present day. Consistently issuing high quality studio albums that include their current showpiece ‘HUMBERSTONE’ (2022), the duo are also in demand producers of new soundtracks for classic silent films and TV documentaries.

2024 sees ITN busier than ever, with current projects that include music for the Blu-ray edition of the forthcoming BFI restoration of ‘Watership Down’ (their father was an animator on the 1978 film), an adaptation of their existing music for ‘The Fall Of The House Of Usher’ for its DVD release, an expanded reissue of their soundtrack for the 1993 US film ‘An Ambush Of Ghosts’ and scoring a new short film entitled ‘Abandoned Feedback’. This rare London show will be their first in the capital for seven years and will see ITN perform material from throughout their career.
