New York, NY (April 23, 2025) – Alternative Metal artist Our Chronicle, founded by Oliver Price releases “Stop Motion” from new EP, If These Walls Could Speak, due May 23, mixed by George Lever (Sleep Token, Loathe, Thornhill) a major force within the genre.

A powerful narrative unfolds in “Stop Motion,” one of paralysis, disconnection, and the desperate grasp for clarity. With stark lyrics like “a frame, a parallel life that you left for me” and “Stop Motion stutters my senses,” the track explores the slow-motion unraveling that follows emotional abandonment.

The production mirrors the song’s themes, emphasizing moments of stillness and tension in search for meaning in the aftermath. “Stop Motion” is a gripping meditation on what it means to lose yourself, and the fight to piece together what remains. [Listen Watch Visualizer]

The 5 tracks of the EP are part of a larger, interconnected story, mirrored by the artwork—a cracked wall split into five distinct pieces. Each piece of the wall visually corresponds to a track, with its design and title representing a fragment of the story. As the EP unfolds, so will the artwork and track titles, with each piece revealed on Instagram to piece together the full picture.

Recorded by Price in Los Angeles, If These Walls Could Speak reflects inner turmoil and self-reflection while offering healing through a fusion of heavy riffs, electronic elements, and emotionally charged lyrics. Price wrote and recorded every element of the music himself, with the final mix completed by George Lever.

Price created Our Chronicle as a way to make music with an overarching theme. “Everyone has a story and is struggling with something,” he said. “I felt like the name and whatever concept I wanted to go into could be relatable to everyone. Our Chronicle could be the story between how the music connects me to my fans. It could be me talking about the fan and their significant other, the fan and their family, or the fan and any struggle they are dealing with.”
