2022 has already seen the Nashville-bred indie-pop trio headline a sold-out show at OMEARA, London, as well as joining 5 Seconds of Summer’s Arena Tour in the UK this spring, with a show at Wembley OVO Arena. The Uncanny Valley European Tour includes eleven stops, including Paris, Antwerp, Amsterdam, Birmingham, Bristol, Manchester, Dublin, Glasgow, Leeds, Nottingham and finally London.

Co-produced by COIN and Julian Bunetta (Maroon 5, One Direction, Harry Styles) Uncanny Valley is an album born from intense fascination with what it means to be human in an increasingly digital world. In the spirit of an emotion-driven sci-fi film, the Nashville-based trio use that fascination as a lens to explore a constellation of human concerns (disconnection, infatuation, existential crisis), instilling each song with equal parts raw honesty & cold calculation. The result is a body of work both high-concept and wildly free-spirited, ultimately making for COIN’s most immersive output to date.

Featuring previously released singles ‘I Think I Met You In A Dream’, ‘Cutie’, ‘Brad Pitt’ and ‘Chapstick’, the project has already amassed over 36 million streams worldwide, garnered praise across the board and was hailed by Elton John on his Rocket Hour Radio Show (“I can promise you’ll be hearing more!”) and Jack Saunders on BBC Radio 1 (‘One of my favourite things we’re playing here… SO SICK”).

COIN are vocalist/keyboardist Chase Lawrence, guitarist Joe Memmel and drummer Ryan Winnen. Ending 2021 with a sold-out 26-city North American tour, the band then joined 5 Seconds of Summer’s arena tour in the UK in 2022 before hitting the road for a slew of festival performances including Lollapalooza, Life Is Beautiful, Bonnaroo, Governor’s Ball, Forecastle and Shaky Knees, with more to be announced. 2022 is set to be a landmark year for the Nashville-based indie-pop trio.
