Dear Maria

New York, NY – 2 August 2024 – Multi-Platinum Maryland quartet All Time Low – Alex Gaskarth, Jack Barakat, Rian Dawson and Zack Merrick – are celebrating two decades together as a band in 2024. To commemorate this significant milestone, the band will be releasing The Forever Sessions Vol. 1 album on August 23rd via their own imprint – Basement Noise Records – which they’re launching in partnership with Photo Finish Records. The new LP will feature re-recordings of the band’s greatest hits from the early part of their career including “Dear Maria, Count Me In (ATL’s Version)” out today – listen HERE and watch the official music video HERE!

“As we continue to celebrate ATL’s legacy and our 20+ years in the music business, we’re thrilled to announce the launch of our own record label Basement Noise Records. This venture has been a long time coming and is another milestone in our continued growth as we push the limits and boundaries of what this band is capable of achieving. We’re also incredibly excited that our first official release under BNR will be a compilation of re-records spanning some of our most important and stand-out catalogue tracks, which we are affectionately calling the “Forever Sessions” (vol. 1) – recreated in a way that we hope stays true to the original recordings, but allows us to apply our skills and knowledge in the studio that we’ve acquired over the many years spent making records. It is a celebration of growth and the spirit of self-sufficiency that set this band on the path to a 20 year career FROM the very beginning. We’re so happy to share this new adventure with the fans who’ve been on this journey with us.” – Alex Gaskarth (All Time Low)

“Forever” has been the theme of 2024 for All Time Low, who kicked off the year announcing a massive Forever tour that took them to Asia and back. In addition to their Forever tour headline dates which included sold-out stops at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, CO and the Salt Shed in Chicago, IL, they spent a week on the road with good friend and collaborator Avril Lavigne on her Greatest Hits tour and they performed at this year’s BottleRock and Hangout festivals. They will culminate their Forever tour on August 24th with a hometown show at the Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia, MD – the band’s biggest and longest US headline show that will span their entire catalog.

All Time Low’s catalog consists of five consecutive Top 10 albums on the Billboard Top 200 in addition to picking up multi-platinum, platinum, and gold certifications. Speaking to their impact, Rolling Stone included the band’s So Wrong, It’s Right LP in their “50 Greatest Pop-Punk Albums”- coming in at #20, alongside albums from Bad ReligionGreen Day, and The Descendants. In 2020, All Time Low ascended to a new commercial and critical high watermark with their eighth full-length LP, Wake Up, Sunshine. Following a #1 debut on the Top Rock Albums chart, it spawned the biggest hit of the band’s career thus far, “Monsters (ft. blackbear)” – which clinched #1 on the Billboard Alternative Airplay Chart for an unprecedented 18 weeks, emerging as the longest charting song ever at the Modern Rock format.

The choice to announce The Forever Sessions Vol. 1 with the release of “Dear Maria, Count Me In (ATL’s Version)” was an easy one, as the song stands out as one of the band’s most iconic singles. Released in 2008 as part of their So Wrong, It’s Right LP, the song quickly became a fan favorite and has since achieved a cult status within the pop-punk community. Its catchy chorus and relatable lyrics have contributed to its enduring popularity, making it a staple at All Time Low’s live performances. “Dear Maria, Count Me In” is now 3x platinum and remains a testament to the band’s ability to create timeless music that resonates with fans old and new.

All Time Low’s journey from high school friends in Baltimore to an internationally recognized act is evidence of their talent, dedication, and the strong connection they have built with their audience over the years. They have undeniably, albeit unassumingly, carved out their own corner of popular culture and they are thrilled to share The Forever Sessions Vol. 1 with their fans this month – pre-save HERE – and “Dear Maria, Count Me In (ATL’s Version)” today.
