New York modern metal band Advents have officially released their debut full-length album, A Bitter Truth You Can’t Undo, available on Friday, July 17 via InVogue Records. Paired with a visualizer for the album’s focus track “Kingdom Falls,” the record marks the band’s most ambitious and defining release to date, pushing their sound further while staying rooted in the intensity that has fueled their rise.

Speaking on the release, the band shares, “A Bitter Truth You Can’t Undo is out now, we couldn’t be more thrilled for everyone to hear what we’ve been working on in full. This album has many twists and turns throughout and is ultimately the truest sense of who Advents is. We invested significant time, energy, and effort into every aspect of the album’s sound, look, and message. ADVENTS – “KINGDOM FALLS“

Closing the album with both reflection and resolve, “Kingdom Falls” explores what happens after expectations crumble and the plans you once believed in give way to something entirely different. On the focus track, the band explains, “‘Kingdom Falls’ closes the album, but it doesn’t feel like an ending. It’s about the musical paths each of us previously believed in but didn’t take us where we thought they would, and how all of it led us here. Sonically, we pushed into new territory, such as using acoustic guitar and developing a different relationship with atmosphere. It’s a great indication of who Advents is and where we’re going.“
