| A Thousand Horses have released the video for ‘Shadows’ feat. Aaron Gillespie, which is taken from the forthcoming album White Flag Down, coming out on Feb 27th 2026. The track stares down the parts of ourselves that we try to bury. With its hard-hitting energy and sharp edge, the track turns the spotlight on the darkness we think no one sees. Lead singer Michael Hobby says, “The song came from watching a relationship fall apart under betrayal and lies. It’s about that moment when something that once felt sacred doesn’t anymore, and you realise the truth is going to surface no matter how hard someone tries to hide it. It’s painful, but it’s also very human.” Guitarist Bill Satcher adds, “Teaming up with the mighty Aaron Gillespie on ‘Shadows’ brought fire to this track like no one else could have. His beat behind the kit is as unmistakable as his voice is on the mic. We’re all from the south, with our roots in South Carolina and his from Florida, so the groove locked in fast. The writing and recording sessions for this song were some of the most fun and exciting of our career and you can really feel that energy when you listen.” The new music has set the tone for the upcoming album ushering in a new chapter and sound. The releases follow a hugely successful summer after the band made their triumphant return to the UK for the first time since 2019 reminding audiences of their adept talents in the rock’n’roll arena. A Thousand Horses are a two-time ACM Award nominated Nashville group and with 320 million+ streams, sold-out shows, and widespread acclaim are also known for their incendiary live show, and have toured with iconic acts like Lynyrd Skynyrd, Darius Rucker, Jason Aldean, Greg Allman and more. The band will return to the UK in 2026 for an appearance at Maid Of Stone Festival on 17 – 19 July 2026 |
