Following from the release of critically acclaimed solo album Bad Bones earlier this year, GRÖNWALL is back with the release of a new single taken from that record: Written In The Scars. The track is accompanied by a moving music video, available here
Written In The Scars is the last song the band wrote for the album; it’s a slower, intimate and intense number, deeply personal yet incredibely universal and most of all quintessentially human. When thinking about this track vocalist Erik comments: “Everybody’s got a story to tell. This song is a reminder that everyone you meet is fighting a battle you know nothing about. Be kind. Always. And be proud of your scars. They’re reminders of your strength, what you’ve survived and everything you’ve overcome.”
Bad Bones has been welcomed with high praises by the cricits and fans alike, delivering on all promisses and marking the beginning of a bold new chapter in GRÖNWALL’s career. The band is quickly establishing itself as a fast rising, not-to-be-ignored band in the rock scene worldwide.
Previous singles including: strong reception of the album’s first singles Bad Bones, Born To Break and Praying For A Miracle, the full album is out now and available here
Known around the globe for his powerhouse vocals and commanding stage presence, Erik has made his mark as the frontman of Skid Row, H.E.A.T, and through his work with guitar legend Michael Schenker. With Bad Bones, however, the focus turns fully inward.
Alongside his work in the studio and on stage, Erik has built a massive global audience through his highly successful YouTube channel, where millions of fans have followed his journey and connected with his powerful interpretations and authenticity. With Bad Bones, that same raw connection now fuels his own original voice.
Bad Bones’ first singles have already gained strong international support from major rock radio stations including Bandit Rock (Sweden), Planet Rock (UK), and Star FM (Germany), while Erik’s upcoming live shows continue to build momentum. Two hometown performances at Cirkus in Stockholm sold out months in advance, alongside a growing list of festival appearances across Scandinavia and Europe.
