Since forming in 2020, Connecticut’s HARD FEELINGS have been unleashing fast, angry, raw hardcore punk driven by life’s ebb and flow. Today, the band unleash their debut full-length No One Is Going to Save You out through Heroes & Martyrs. Drawing influence from acts like Death Threat, Ceremony, and Hammer Bros, Hard Feelings have created ten in your face tracks that pair upbeat hardcore with heavy mosh breaks. Running under fifteen minutes, No One Is Going to Save You pulls with tempered emotion, from the direct opener “Angry” through the sprawling ending with “Interlude” and the title track.
Vocalist Zach McCormack shares on the album’s lyrical messaging:
“This album is a lot more personal than previous releases, and it’s a culmination of a lot of different things. From overcoming loss and hardship, ridding your life of people that don’t want the best for you, and coming to terms with a system that wants to see you fail, these songs are just a way to let out our frustration and allow us to face these things head on. Our name says it all, but these songs are an outlet for us to express our frustration with everyday life and sometimes the people in it.”
No One Is Going to Save You was recorded and produced by Nick Bellmore at Dexters Lab Recording in Milford, CT. Stream the album on Bandcamp, Spotify, and across streaming services, and purchase through Heroes & Martyrs.
Hard Feelings have an album release show scheduled for October 24th in Golden Hills, CT at Waterbury AOH Club with support from Soulless, Negative Force, Pushback, and Intrusive.
