Finnish alternative metal band Awake Again kick off a new chapter with ‘Middle Man’, the first single from their upcoming second full-length album. The band have also announced a co-headline tour with Swedish metal band Mister Misery, starting in Germany in March.

Fast, chaotic and relentlessly heavy, ‘Middle Man’ combines crushing modern metalcore, razor-sharp riffs and explosive dynamics with unpredictable rhythmic twists and manic energy. The sound is inspired by bands such as System of a Down, Enter Shikari and Bring Me The Horizon, or, as the band likes to describe it, “System of a Bring Me the Shikari”. ‘Middle Man’ offers a first glimpse into Awake Again’s next era.

The upcoming album follows their 2022 debut No Matter How The World Turns and the EPs A Promise of Better Days (2024) and The Dream That Never Dies (2025). While the album title and artwork remain secret, the record will explore environmental crisis, mental health and the possibility of apocalypse, leaving room for hope.

Since forming in Turku in 2013, Awake Again have played more than 200 shows across Finland and Europe, appearing at festivals such as Tuska, Ruisrock, Nummirock and Qstock. In 2026, they joined Lost Society on the TOUR IS A STATE OF MIND tour across the EU and UK.

With over 11 million streams across platforms and several viral clips on their social media channels the band continues to build momentum ahead of its next full-length release.
