Korpse is a brutal death metal band from the Netherlands, founded by drummer Marten van Kruijssen in 2013. Together with vocalist Sven van Dijk, guitarist Floor van Kuijk and bassist Ante Zorić, this quartet of destruction is widely known and respected for their relentless live shows.
What you hear on the group’s records is what you get live: a relentless display of brutality, without compromises or false overstatements. Immensely heavy slam breakdowns, combined with grinding speed and aggression, are the result of Korpse‘s no-nonsense approach to the slamming death genre. Because of their unique sound and approach, and because all band members have extensive experience playing across Europe and North America, Korpse will continue to wreak havoc wherever their crusade leads them.
Their latest release — the Forbid EP — was digitally unleashed via Unique Leader Records on August 21, 2026. “‘Forbid‘ is an uncompromising piece of brutality,” the band comments. “Extended with lyrics and a message that adds a new layer of aggression. Make no mistake, this is not an attempt to fit into anyone’s comfortable picture. Korpse will remain None So Brutal.”
Korpse will not rest until everyone shares their vision of brutality and has laid waste to every deathfest on this planet!
