Fans can stream the original version of the song at this link: www.youtube.com/watch?v=ESJjzwFu6_I “Wait for Dark immediately stood out to me for its darker, almost post-hardcore edge, which feels quite new in their discography,” says The Toxic Avenger on his remix of the single. “I come from this world myself. I may have drifted away for a few years but I’ve found my way back through a more shoegaze-influenced approach. So, reworking this track felt like a pretty natural fit. I wanted to push its darker side even further while bringing out its more pop-oriented side at the same time. I really love that contrast and the tension between something dark with music that still makes you want to dance. That push and pull that feels both melancholic and physical at the same time.” “Since our next album is deeply tied to the south of France, our newest song, “Wait for Dark” leans into something people don’t usually associate with the French Riviera,” adds guitarist and vocalist Mathias Court. “With this new remix, we wanted to go deeper into the night, into something that feels both dreamlike and threatening at the same time. Our friend Toxic Avenger really made this song even darker, more cinematic, more neon.
