SABINA BEYLI releases new single ‘Novacaine’

SABINA BEYLI releases new

single ‘Novacaine’

Azerbaijani-born pop-rock artist Sabina Beyli returns today with her haunting new single, ‘Novacaine’. Blending cinematic production with intimate lyricism, the track explores the fine line between comfort and dependency, capturing the feeling of finding someone who becomes an emotional anesthetic in the midst of chaos.

Speaking of the single Sabina Beyli shares, “Novacaine” came from one of those nights where everything felt a little too loud emotionally, and the only thing that made it quiet again was him. I wrote it about three months ago in a completely unplanned session – no intention of making a single, no pressure, just honesty. The song is really about finding someone who becomes your emotional anesthetic in the middle of chaos. Sonically, it lives in this dark alternative pop world with cinematic production and really intimate lyrics. It’s vulnerable, but there’s still tension in it. I wanted it to feel beautiful and dangerous at the same time – like being addicted to something that’s healing you but could also hurt you all at once. That duality became the heart of the record. What makes “Novacaine” special to me is that it wasn’t overthought. Some songs take months of chasing an idea, but this one poured out almost exactly as it exists now. Those are usually the records that end up meaning the most because they’re untouched emotionally. I think listeners are going to hear that immediacy in the vocal too – it feels very raw and very close. A good friend of mine Elena de Elia co-wrote this song with me, and Mike Midura produced it!”

SABINA BEYLI – Novacaine (Official Music Video)

Sabina Beyli is part of a new wave of alternative pop artists blurring the lines between dark pop, rock, and emotionally charged songwriting. Combining cinematic production with sharp, confessional lyricism, the Azerbaijani-born singer-songwriter has built a reputation for turning personal experiences into songs that feel both intimate and universally relatable.

A graduate of Berklee College of Music and the first Azerbaijani woman to earn a degree from the institution, Beyli brings a rare combination of technical musicianship and unfiltered storytelling to her work. Her music explores themes of self-destruction, identity, fractured relationships, and emotional resilience, delivered through a sound that sits comfortably between alternative pop, modern rock, and the darker edges of contemporary mainstream music.

Recent singles ‘Bad Habits’ and ‘Culprit’ showcase her most direct and self-assured material to date. Written alongside producer and fellow Berklee alum Mike Midura, the tracks capture the tension between vulnerability and empowerment, pairing raw emotion with hook-driven songwriting and expansive production.

Alongside her growing catalogue, Beyli has cultivated an audience of more than 100,000 followers across social platforms, connecting with listeners drawn to her authenticity and fearless approach to self-expression. With each release, she continues to refine a sound that refuses easy categorisation, positioning herself as one of the most exciting emerging voices operating at the intersection of alternative pop and rock.

As she enters her next chapter, Sabina Beyli is establishing herself as an artist defined not by genre, but by emotional honesty, creative ambition, and a clear vision for where alternative music can go next.
