ROCK LEGEND (INXS) ANDREW FARRISS RELEASES REFLECTIVE NEW SINGLE ‘ROLLING HOME’

COMES AHEAD OF UPCOMING ALBUM THE PROSPECTOR (JULY 10)

LONDON, U.K. – Rock legend Andrew Farriss has released his new single, ‘Rolling Home’, offering fans an early glimpse into the heart and soul of his forthcoming album, The Prospector, set for release on 10 July, 2026. Pre-save here.

A reflective and deeply relatable track, ‘Rolling Home’ explores the idea that fulfilment is not always found in distant places or future ambitions, but often in appreciating the present moment and the life already around us.

Explaining why he chose the song as the album’s lead single, Farriss said: “‘Rolling Home’ suits The Prospector album because the grass is not always greener on the other side of life. It’s about enjoying the time you have today and in the minutes and seconds of your life right now.”

Farriss further describes the song as a journey familiar to many: “‘Rolling Home’ is about the emotions most of us have felt about leaving home for the first time, to go explore another place, another city, another town.”

He adds, “Especially for those who come from small towns into the big city, and then the desire to return to their roots, realising maybe the fantasy of the big city doesn’t match up to reality.

Farriss has spent a lifetime crafting songs that have resonated with audiences worldwide. As co-founder and the main composer of INXS, he helped shape some of rock’s most enduring music – recently acknowledged at the 2026 APRA Music Awards with the band receiving a Ted Albert Award for Outstanding Services to Australian Music.

With his forthcoming solo album The Prospector, Farriss turns inward, exploring themes of connection, purpose and the search for meaning through twelve reflective songs shaped by experience and storytelling.

Set for release July 10, 2026, The Prospector is Farriss’ second solo album and follows his acclaimed self-titled debut. Inspired by people, cultures, nature and the world around him, the album blends country, Americana and singer-songwriter influences, featuring collaborations with artists including Stephen Wilson Jr., Steve Bogard, Leigh Nash, Jess Chalker and Ciaran Gribbin.

At its core, The Prospector reflects Farriss’ belief that life itself is a search, reminding listeners that sometimes what we’re looking for has been with us all along.
