Today, 18th May, Marshall Records proudly announces the signing of one of the UK alternative scene’s most exciting rising voices, Ashaine White.
Ashaine White has rapidly emerged as a defining new force in alternative music, carving out a sound entirely of her own. Blending grunge textures, soulful lyricism and raw emotional storytelling, the North London artist has built a growing reputation for fearless authenticity and electrifying live performances.
Alternative music at it’s core – Ashaine’s music draws from an eclectic mix of influences, like Nina Simone through to alternative icons like Radiohead & Jeff Buckley. The result is a genre-defying sound that feels both deeply personal and strikingly contemporary.

Already championed by BBC Radio 1, 1Xtra, 6 Music and BBC Introducing, Ashaine has quickly become one of the capital’s most talked-about emerging artists. Radio X’s John Kennedy described her as “Ashaine White at her most rocking”, while her emotionally charged songwriting and uncompromising artistry continue to resonate with an ever-growing audience.
Her captivating live performances have taken her from iconic venues including the Roundhouse, Jazz Café, Ronnie Scott’s and Lafayette to international stages such as SXSW Austin and Rotterdam’s MOMO Festival.
She has also shared stages with Marshall’s very own Nova Twins at London’s O2 Forum Kentish Town, supported Corinne Bailey Rae at Somerset House and received an Ivors Academy Rising Star nomination, further cementing her status as one of the UK’s most exciting breakthrough artists.
