Magnolia Rising—the country duo of Devynn Hart and Trea Swindle, returns with their newest single, “Bet On Me,” releasing May 29. Following the breakout success of their previous single “Hit the Ground,” the duo continues to define their next chapter with a song centered on self-trust, risk, and the moment you decide to believe in your own path, no matter the outcome.
Magnolia Rising has quickly emerged as one of country music’s most compelling new acts, earning attention from Billboard, The Tennessean, The Country Note, Modern Luxury and Nashville Lifestyles for their emotional honesty, vocal strength, and rapidly growing live presence. Also seen in media outlets like News Channel 5, Today in Nashville, Music Row Magazine, and Country Swag. The duo continues to build a reputation for music rooted in resilience, reinvention, and authenticity.
Written by Devynn Hart, Trea Swindle, Leo Brooks, and Andrew Millsaps (formerly Neon Union), “Bet On Me” reflects the emotional clarity of choosing yourself when the stakes are high. Built on Magnolia Rising’s signature blend of powerful harmonies and honest storytelling, the track transforms vulnerability into conviction, delivering a modern country anthem about betting on yourself when everything is on the line.
“‘Bet On Me’ started from a conversation about what it feels like when people count you out or make assumptions about who you are before you have even had the chance to prove yourself. We talked about heartbreak, regret, missed chances, and how sometimes being underestimated becomes the very thing that pushes you forward. The song grew from that feeling and turned into something bigger, a reminder that sometimes the only person who has to believe in you first is you.”
— Devynn Hart, Magnolia Rising
“In my opinion, ‘Bet On Me’ is the soundtrack to realizing you have spent too much time proving yourself to people who already decided to underestimate you. It is confident, defiant, and honestly a little dangerous in the best way. We wanted it to feel like kicking open the casino doors after losing everything and still walking in like you own the place. Because sometimes the biggest gamble is believing in yourself before anybody else does.”
— Trea Swindle, Magnolia Rising
The record was produced by Jason Haag, with co-production from Phillip Vilenski, Trea Swindle, and Devynn Hart. Haag also contributed bass, recording engineering, and handled mixing and mastering, while Vilenski added guitar. Vocals are performed by Devynn Hart and Trea Swindle.
Their breakout single, “Hit the Ground,” introduced their signature message of turning adversity into momentum and established them as a standout new voice in modern country. Since then, Magnolia Rising has expanded their reach through a series of high-profile performances, including the Music City Food and Wine Festival and Modern Luxury’s one-year anniversary celebration.
Where “Hit the Ground” focused on rising after struggle, “Bet On Me” turns inward, centering on belief, ownership, and the courage to fully trust yourself.
The duo also collaborated with 2 Live Bre on the release “Let’s Get Away,” showcasing their versatility and willingness to cross sonic boundaries while maintaining their distinct identity. Internationally, Magnolia Rising completed a UK tour earlier this year, growing a strong overseas fanbase, and are set to return to the UK for additional shows in summer 2026.
