Based in Connecticut, Splitview emerged in 2024 with a cathartic and catchy blend of grunge, shoegaze, and alternative rock. Signed to Static Era Records, the band has built an engaged listener base with their four singles and are now ready to present a fuller body of work. Today, Splitview release their debut EP, Believe You’ll Be Alright, produced and recorded by John Naclerio at Nada Recording. The five tracks build off vulnerable vocals, surrounded by bold melodies and weighty guitars. The lyrics are direct, aiming to be a cathartic release while also connecting with anyone who listens.

Melancholy views reign as opener “Glare” sets the tone with lines like “Are you afraid to die? / I’m more afraid to be alone.” The track receives a video treatment, meshing haunting imagery with a performance from the band. Watch it HERE.

On the song, vocalist Erik Brzoska shares:

“There’s a lot of self-reflection in this track, notes of heartbreak, questioning faith, not feeling safe in the world, etc. It really became a compilation of the effects of personal issues and worldwide problems. You can say the lyrics are about a personal relationship, your relationship with religion, your own mental state; there are a lot of ways that a listener can take this song in, and I love that.”

Believe You’ll Be Alright is available for purchase now through Static Era Records and can be streamed HERE.

Splitview have a number of east coast shows on the horizon including a May weekender with Turn Two. Full dates below.

Splitview is Erik Brzoska – Vocals/Guitar, Patrick Conway – Bass/Vocals, Chris Kovacs – Guitar, and Jon Okpych – Drums.
