FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – March 20, 2026 – Today, Tedeschi Trucks Band (TTB), the GRAMMY Award-winning band led by the dynamic wife and husband duo of Susan Tedeschi and Derek Trucks, has released their sixth studio album, Future Soul, via Fantasy Records. PRESS HERE to listen on global streaming platforms and to order on CD and various vinyl exclusives. Future Soul includes the previously released singles “I Got You” and “Who Am I” as well as their new single, the album’s title track, which TTB performed last night on Jimmy Kimmel Live!. PRESS HERE to watch the debut TV performance of “Future Soul” from NYC’s Beacon Theatre, where the revered 12-piece powerhouse ensemble is currently in the middle of a 10-show, sold-out residency.

“I feel like this is the most unique record we’ve done,” says Trucks of Future Soul. “It’s my favorite collection of songs that we’ve ever put on a record. From song to song, there’s just not a weak spot. With Future Soul, we wanted to shake things up. We hope that our fans and everyone who listens to this album enjoys the ride!”

This Tuesday, March 24th, Tedeschi Trucks Band will be guests on “The Howard Stern Show” talking about Future Soul and much more in addition to a full band performance of tracks off the new album. Listen live on SiriusXM channel Howard 100 at 9:45am ET.

Future Soul, produced by Mike Elizondo (Twenty One Pilots, Eminem, Dr. Dre, Carrie Underwood) and co-produced by Trucks, is TTB’s most powerful album to date. The heart, honesty, and full-band collaboration also makes the new 11-track album their most unique collection. The majority of the songwriting was done by Trucks, Tedeschi, Mike Mattison, Gabe Dixon, and Tyler Greenwell with the music sonically pulling from a variety of influences including funk, rock ‘n roll, blues, soul, punk, and much more. Future Soul – recorded at their own Swamp Raga Recording (Jacksonville, FL) as well as Phantom Studios (Gallatin, TN) – marks the follow-up to TTB’s 2022 conceptual quadruple studio album, I Am The Moon, and their 2025 live release, Tedeschi Trucks Band and Leon Russell Present: Mad Dogs & Englishmen Revisited (LIVE AT LOCKN’).

Kicking off Future Soul is the laid-back funky soul of “Crazy Cryin’,” into the infectious, driving mid-tempo, Mattison-penned classic “I Got You,” hailed as “irresistible” by Classic Rock Magazine. The timeless “Who Am I” follows, harkening back slightly to TTB’s hit “Midnight in Harlem” while also being its own beast. “Future Soul” kicks the door down sonically, highlighting a collection whose depth is matched by its buoyant spirit. On “Future Soul,” Trucks, who has notched two appearances on Rolling Stone’s “100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time” list, had fun with his 1958 “crazy Space Age Flying V.” Future Soul also includes the blues shuffle “Devil Be Gone” and rocker “Be Kind,” both penned by Dixon. Track listing for Future Soul below.

Tedeschi Trucks Band will celebrate the release of Future Soul tonight (March 20th) at the Beacon Theatre for show #6 of their sold-out residency, which also represents TTB’s 70th show at the famed venue, and tomorrow night (March 21st). The band’s headlining NYC run continues through March 28th. Adding to the celebrations this weekend, TTB is hosting a special, family-friendly screening event for their forthcoming film, The Garden Party, at Brooklyn Bowl New York on Sunday, March 22nd (PRESS HERE for tickets) and an in-store album signing at Rough Trade Below in NYC also on Sunday, March 22nd (PRESS HERE for more info).

Hailed as “one of the best bands on the road today,” TTB will then take their acclaimed live show on the road on their Future Soul 2026 Tour. The 36-date headlining outing, produced by Live Nation, launches April 14th and will run throughout the summer and fall, including two sold-out nights at Red Rocks Amphitheatre (July 31 and August 1) and a special co-headlining show at The Hollywood Bowl with The Black Crowes and Whiskey Myers on August 17th, before wrapping at the end of October. Also joining TTB on their upcoming tour are Alabama Shakes, Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit, Sheryl Crow, Lukas Nelson, JJ Grey & Mofro, and Molly Tuttle on various dates, respectively. Additionally, TTB will perform at numerous festivals this year including Bonnaroo, New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival, and Telluride Bluegrass Festival in addition to their own Sun, Sand & Soul experience and will open for The Eagles in May on three nights of the legendary band’s farewell stadium tour. See below for all upcoming tour dates. Tickets for the Future Soul 2026 Tour are available now. Visit www.tedeschitrucksband.com/tour for more info and to purchase tickets and VIP packages.

Future Soul has a lot to live up to…and it does. Tedeschi Trucks Band’s debut studio album, Revelator, won the 2012 Grammy Award for Best Blues Album, while 2018’s Live From the Fox Oakland was nominated for a Best Contemporary Blues Album Grammy. Since forming in 2010, TTB has been nominated for numerous Americana Music Honors & Awards and won Band of the Year in 2013, 2014, 2017 and 2023 at the Blues Music Awards. They’ve sold out Madison Square Garden and over 20 nights at Red Rocks Amphitheatre. In 2024, Derek Trucks and Susan Tedeschi (hailed as “two of the best roots rock musicians of their generation” by NPR) performed at the Kennedy Center Honors, honoring Bonnie Raitt, Grateful Dead, and more, and the full band played the 2025 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony honoring one of their biggest influences, Joe Cocker, with an all-star set featuring special guests Nathaniel Rateliff, Teddy Swims, Cyndi Lauper, Bryan Adams, Chris Robinson, and more.

Known for its world-class musicianship, Tedeschi Trucks Band is Susan Tedeschi (guitar, vocals), Derek Trucks (guitar), Mike Mattison (guitar, vocals), Gabe Dixon (keys, vocals), Brandon Boone (bass), Tyler “Falcon” Greenwell (drums, percussion), Isaac Eady (drums, percussion), Mark Rivers (vocals, percussion), Alecia Chakour (vocals, percussion), Kebbi Williams (saxophone), Emmanuel Echem (trumpet) and Elizabeth Lea (trombone).
