The return of Marmozets after an eight-year absence has seen an outpouring of love for the band, fuelled by the all-killer-no-filler tracks ‘A Kiss From A Mother’, ‘You Want The Truth’ , ‘New York’ and the latest release ‘Running With The Sun In Your Eyes’. Now the band’s resurgence continues to fly ahead of the May 22nd release of their new album ‘CO.WAR.DICE.’ with confirmation of their JuneUK headline tour. The seven-date summer run gets underway in June and includes a London show at the Scala.
The band – completed by Becca’s husband Jack Bottomley (guitar) and her siblings Sam Macintyre (bass) and Josh Macintyre (drums) – have also just released their new single ‘Running With The Sun In Your Eyes’. It’s a song that pulsates with the vigour of a band reborn, with Marmozets channelling their gritty barrage into sleek electro-rock swagger.
Fans who pre-order the album ‘CO.WAR.DICE.’ from the band’s official store HERE will receive a code to gain access to a ticket pre-sale (limited to four each) which opens at 10am on Wednesday, March 18th. Any remaining tickets will then go on general sale HERE from 10am on Friday, March 20th.
Beyond their headline dates – listed below – Marmozets also have a summer of big outdoor shows confirmed. They hit London’s Finsbury Park on July 3rd as part of a stacked bill before headliners Biffy Clyro. They will also make a long awaited return to Downloadon June 13th and power into one of their favourite festivals, 2000trees, on July 11th.
