Today, Baltimore hardcore band THE S.E.T. unleash their debut EP, Self Evident Truth, through Flatspot Records. It’s 15 minutes of fury and groove, taking cues from Baltimore acts such as Gut Instinct (whose Sebastian Gorgone features on “White Lies”) and Stout and the crossover sounds of New York like Leeway and Judge. Recorded and mixed by Justin Day at New Noise Recording and mastered by Brad Boatright at Audiosiege, the tracks roar with thick bass lines, fast-paced drums, and rage fueled vocals. To celebrate the release, THE S.E.T. have unveiled a video for opening track “This Chain.” The minute and half long track shouts of injustice as the Rob Silver directed video pays respect to Baltimore hardcore scene. Watch it HERE.

The S.E.T. will head out on an east coast tour supporting New York hardcore legends Judge this March. The band will also head to Europe in November for a performance at Revolution Calling festival. Dates below.
