Plumpton Revival 2026

The Forgotten Festival Is Coming Home on Saturday 8th and Sunday 9th August 2026 at Plumpton Racecourse, Plumpton, Lewes BN7 3AL.

Plumpton, UK— Monday 23rd February 2026

In 1969 and 1970, Plumpton Racecourse played host to one of the most legendary — yet overlooked — festivals in British music history. Acts like Pink Floyd, The Who, Ginger Baker, Peter Green, and Black Sabbath lit up the Sussex skies before the festival was forced to relocate. Eventually evolving into what we now know as the Reading Festival.

Now, more than 50 years on, that forgotten chapter of British counterculture is set to roar back into life. Plumpton Revival will take place on August 8–9, 2026, transforming the racecourse into a full-scale, immersive reimagining of those extraordinary late-60s/early-70s weekends.

“It’s more than just a tribute — this is about reclaiming a forgotten chapter of UK music history and re-igniting it for a new generation,” said Theo Crew, Creative Producer.

Basil Brush (A true icon of British variety as you’ve never seen him before!), Chas & Dave by The Spice Chavs – A raucous tribute to the sing along legends, Tony Law (8 Out of 10 Cats, Have I Got News For You) – Surreal, unpredictable, and one of the most inventive comics of our generation, Jarred Christmas (Never Mind the Buzzcocks, Mock the Week) – High-octane storytelling and festival-ready charisma. Also including a handpicked crew of comedians, performers, mischief-makers, and rising voices bringing depth, colour and unpredictability to the festival. Hosted by festival legend Craig Campbell – (Russell Howard’s Good News)—the Plumpton Comedy Tent promises a weekend of glorious mayhem.

Festival Disco:

This summer, Plumpton Revival turns the lights down low and brings the groove back where it belongs with the Plumpton Revival Disco.
