Welsh Pop Punk Trio Who Saves The Hero To Release New Album

Welsh pop-punks Who Saves The Hero? Have returned with their new album “Love | Hate | Demons” which is set for release on Friday, February 20th via TSM Records. The record was co-produced and mixed by George Colins, mastered by Grant Berry and featuring a guest appearance from Skindred’s own Benji Webb, is bulging with high energy, emotionally driven pop punk.

Speaking about their new album “Love | Hate | Demons”, vocalist/guitarist Josh Frederick had this to say:
“This album is a concept album based on events in my own life and stories from around my own experiences. The tracks are stories, but half of them are about myself, and the other half are about an alter ego that I could have become, which I’m glad I didn’t. The alter ego shares the same nickname that I had in school (Freddy), which was also my dad’s nickname growing up. The tracks on the album are written about different scenarios either about Freddy or me.”

The tracklisting for the album is:
1. I – LOVE
2. Enemies
3. Lonely
4. Love Me Tonight
5. Mammas Song (WITHOUT YOU)
6. II – HATE
7. Life’s A Show
8. Do What You Want
9. Make Your Mind Up (feat. Intro By Benji Dred Webbe)
10. III – DEMONS
11. Bulletproof
12. Obvious
13. Pushing Me Over The Edge

A band who has earned a reputation in the industry the hard way through long drives, small stages, and loud rooms! WSTH? spent years grinding it out on the DIY circuit, playing packed basements, local venues, and out of town shows. The band have also gone on to play the Warped Tour and performing sold out shows and supporting acts like Punk Rock Factory, Games We Play, and Thomas Nicolas, among others!

The record, the lyrics for which were co-written with Evan Gardner, is separated into three categories: Love, Hate and Demons. There are four songs under Love, three under Hate and three under Demons.

Every tour and weekend run has shaped the band’s identity: emotional, honest, and loud enough to mean it. No gimmicks—just songs written to be screamed back in a room full of strangers who feel the same things. At their core, Who Saves The Hero? is about connection. Whether it’s a hometown show or something on the road, they show up to play like it matters… because to them it does.
