NASHVILLE, TN – February 13, 2026 – Releasing their first new music in nine years today, The Band Perry (Kimberly Perry, Johnny Costello) is back with  “PSYCHOLOGICAL” – listen HERE.

A mad and manic story of lovestruck obsession, the unhinged, gothic waltz starts with a simple piano riff. Perry’s unmistakable voice narrates:

I heard you like Nirvana, so I listen all night while I sleep

I’ve memorized ten songs ‘cuz, you might ask me if I can name three

Started drinking Jack even though I hate whiskey

I’d fake my own death just to see if you’d miss me

I drive by the house that one day will be ours

Do you think I’m taking this too far? (No)

Written by Clara Park, Grace Tyler, and Colton Venner, the single’s twisted chorus crashes in with gusto, amped up by GRAMMY, CMA, and ACM award winner Dann Huff’s dialed, Country-rock production.

‘Cuz you make crazy seem rational

I’d say obsession feels natural

You’re all I want, any hoop any obstacle

Boy you make going psycho logical

“Stepping back into The Band Perry with Johnny by my side feels like coming home and starting a brand new adventure all at once,” Kimberly Perry shares. “We wanted our first song of Season 2 of The Band Perry to be the perfect blend of nostalgia – everything our fans know and love TBP to be – and authentically reflective of where we are here in 2026. It’s loud, it’s passionate, it’s devoted, it’s delusional. It is quintessentially ‘us.’”

ABOUT THE BAND PERRY

The Band Perry is a GRAMMY?, CMA, and ACM Award-winning band known for their genre-defying sound and bold artistic reinvention. Since bursting onto the scene with their RIAA DIAMOND-certified smash hit “If I Die Young,” the Band, led by the artistic eye and creative direction of lead singer / songwriter, Kimberly Perry, have captivated audiences worldwide. The band’s 2025 return marks the end of hiatus and the start of the band’s next era.

Spanning a decade-plus of music and two albums, The Band Perry has sold two and a half million albums, 12 million singles, and racked up over 1 billion streams. Their success story continues to grow both domestically and globally, a talent powerhouse touting sold-out world tours, six #1 singles, multiple RIAA Platinum and Gold certifications, and pioneering chart success. Their Appalachian gothic sound is amplified by heartfelt, original storytelling, dynamic musicianship, and high-energy performance. Known for pushing creative boundaries while staying rooted in Southern tradition, the band continues to evolve — both artistically and as individuals. Their new single, “PSYCHOLOGICAL,” is out now, and impacts Country radio on February 17.
