Empty Spaces are a 4-piece rock band based in Belfast. The band have burst onto the Irish Music scene over the last 2 years and have taken no prisoners, playing at venues across Ireland from Fibber Magees in Dublin to the Mandela Hall in Belfast.
The lovechild of Stevo and Rahul’s uni days, Empty Spaces have come into the scene with heavy riffs, fast solos, and most importantly, great craic at their shows. The band draws from many musical inspirations from Foo Fighters to Led Zeppelin and will be a sure stay on your Spotify playlist.
Previous single ‘Back To The Sea’ increased the band’s visibility across the industry with some big pick ups in the media with the likes of Total Rock, Amazing Radio, Rock Radio UK and BSBTV playing the track. The single was also ‘Track of the Week’ on the aforementioned BSBTV review show!

‘In Motion’ is a heads down assault that wastes no seconds in its 3 minute runtime. The song is a blend of driven riffs and haunting lyrics, culminating in a complete release of energy and pressure. The lyrics, although simple in choice, act as a rally cry, not only to our audience but also to one’s self. As the song has been in development over the last 3 years, its meaning has undertaken many forms, whether positive or negative. But one thing remains – life is always In Motion! This anthemic powerhouse is sure to be on your playlist, when you are looking for that second wind in these cold months.
