To mark the release, the band will hit the road for their largest headline tour to date, with stops across North America, the UK, and Europe. Good Kid will share a brand new video-, premiering at 8pm GMT tonight for their second single Rift. Their first single, Wall, has already racked up over two million streams and 125 million TikTok views from fan-generated content in its first week. “Working on the “Rift” music video with Ted Nivison was such a surreal and electric experience, that we’re still buzzing about it. We flew from Toronto to Los Angeles for less than 72 hours for the shoot. We had shown Ted only the song and lyrics before its release, allowing him full creative liberty to see where his vision would lead us. Ted and his team had rented out a full boxing gym, and for one magical day, we stepped into our alter egos as coaches, announcers, and for Nick, a giant teddy bear. This was by far our most ambitious in-person project we’ve worked on, and we couldn’t be happier with how it all turned out.
