[Tuesday December 2, 2025] YUNGBLUD has scored his first US Billboard Top 10 album with One More Time, a collaborative EP with Aerosmith. The release has also topped the US Rock & Alternative charts.
The star hit number 1 in the UK with the record, landing his second number 1 album of 2025, and helping Steven Tyler and Joe Perry reach the top spot for the first time.
The chart success followed the news that YUNGBLUD earned three Grammy nominations in the Rock category; making him the first British artist in history to do so and joining the ranks of Bruce Springsteen, U2, and Foo Fighters.
YUNGBLUD said, “Someone told me yesterday that I’m the only British artist to receive three nominations in the Rock category ever, which is just completely unfathomable”.
He added, “I grew up in a guitar shop, I grew up on Rock music. With [Idols] the goal was to lean into that love and lean into that passion and create an unfiltered, unadulterated Rock album.”
Speaking about his musical inspiration, he said, “I was raised on stories of British artists like The Who, Led Zeppelin, and Ozzy who went out and conquered America. To be reaching those heights is mad.”
Motivated by the decades-long absence of British rock on the global stage, YUNGBLUD has made it his mission to reignite the genre worldwide, spearheading the next British invasion and paving the way for a new wave of acts. The 28 year old Brit recently revealed that, in their final conversation, Ozzy Osbourne told him to “go break America”.
This summer, YUNGBLUD’s profile skyrocketed in the UK after he captivated 40,000 fans at Villa Park with a soul-stirring rendition of Black Sabbath’s Changes. A show-stealing performance at the VMAs in September alongside Aerosmith opened the US to him in a way that hasn’t happened for a British artist in years. In October, the Brit announced a US tour for 2026, with tickets selling out in one minute.
Speaking about the artist’s achievements, manager Tommas Arnby of Special Projects Music said, “The fact is that the UK is waking up to guitar music again and YUNGBLUD has played a huge part in that. He’s the voice of modern rock and he’s unlike anything we’ve seen in years. His influence isn’t just important, it’s essential to the rebirth of rock and roll in this country.”
