LOSS BECOMES — Brian Tsao, guitar; Will Gomez, bass; Anthony Copozzi, vocals; Anthony Lopardo, guitars; Sean Ageman, drums — released their new album SONDER at the top of the year. Get the album, released digitally via The Orchard, here.
Today, they have shared the video for latest single “Home,” a thrashy rager that is tempered by incredibly catchy melodic choruses.
Watch the video, which finds the band performing in its signature Adidas track suits, here.
“‘Will I ever come back home?’
“This lyric for me personally means a million things,” shares Copozzi. “One of them is learning to move on and allow growth, even when in a mentally unhealthy place. Things like…past feelings. Growing older. Healing old wounds. Moving on from what was once a safe place and finding a new one. All while doing that asking yourself honest questions while looking inward.”
He elaborates, “Questions like, ‘Do I feel seen? Do I feel heard? Who am I now that this time has passed? Who are these people around me? Who am I to these people around me? Do I belong here? Am I happy? Does this fill my cup? Or am I filling some ‘thing’ or someone else’s cup?'”
“Patience is everything.”
Regarding this lyric, he states, “Being gentle and kind with yourself in these moments is one of the hardest things to do, but from what I’ve learned, you have to. Especially as you are trying to survive from your own personal hell.”
As for the accompanying video, the singer explains, “Brian got pretty excited. We all did. But Chef? He really got into it and had a little spill. This is probably our favorite song to play collectively as a band. That was felt especially while filming the video. Once the end kicks in, we all pretty much lock in and it’s one of the oddest connections I’ve ever felt while in a band. One hive mind.”
As for Tsao taking a tumble while filming, he jokes, “No one asked if Brian was okay. He’s still upset.”

ABOUT LOSS BECOMES:
Hailing from Queens and Long Island New York, Loss Becomes are not your typical metal band. Guitarist, YouTuber, and Chef/Owner of Mission Sandwich Social, Brian Tsao, has put together a band like few others. Accompanied by long time friend Will “Doc” Gomez (Johnny Cage is a Fake, Tiger Flowers), Anthony Copozzi (Thracian), Anthony Lopardo (Westfall Recording Company), and Sean Ageman (Washed Up Media), Tsao and his bandmates have shaped Loss Becomes into a unique blend of metalcore with flashes of nu metal, hardcore thrash, and more. Having initially crafted their sound during the depths of the pandemic, Loss Becomes journey hasn’t always been an easy one. After several years of hard work, the end product has been unleashed upon the world to critical acclaim. The music is unforgivingly aggressive with Anthony Copozzi’s ferocious enthusiasm heard on every lyric, giving the band what can only be described as a full aural assault. Loss Becomes are hungry and are forgetting their manners. Having performed alongside such acts as Alien Weaponry, Darkest Hour, Dr.Acula, Dying Wish, Extinction AD, Moon Tooth, Norma Jean, Swollen Teeth, and more, the band is no stranger to the stage. Loss Becomes are ready and able to take on all challenges regardless of genre and deliver a crushing live set.
