Hailing from Bridgend, South Wales, and formed in 2023, EDIT THE TIDE have rapidly built a reputation for their high-octane live shows and emotionally resonant songwriting. Their debut EP, Reflections in Sound (April 2024), made a bold impact — earning radio support from Kerrang! Radio and BBC Introducing Wales, along with critical acclaim in Powerplay and Devolution Magazine. Since then, they’ve shared stages with the likes of Punk Rock Factory, The Virginmarys, and Chuggaboom, including a sold-out Cardiff show and appearances on major UK festival line-ups.
Produced and mixed by the renowned Romesh Dodangoda (Bring Me The Horizon, Bullet For My Valentine) at Longwave Studios, The Space Between Seconds sees the band evolve into a heavier, more progressive sound. Speaking about the EP, the band shared: “This record captures a lot of what we’ve been through together — both as a band and as individuals. It explores themes of space, time, fear, failure, love, regret, and addiction. It’s raw and honest — a reflection of our journey, our growth, and where we stand now.”
With continued support from Kerrang! and other key media tastemakers, a slot at Hard Rock Hell Festival secured for this month, and a fresh set of tracks ready to ignite their live performances, EDIT THE TIDE are set to become one of the most exciting and essential new names in modern alternative metal.
