“Shadows” tells the story of the fragile quest for illusions and deceptive promises, mirages where dreams of fulfillment dissipate into an echo of emptiness and lies. Through the changing reflections of mirrors, masks and endless races, the song reveals the desperate flight of human souls, chasing desires they can never achieve, preferring the shadow of lies to the clarity of reality. At the end of this journey, the narrator’s voice rises, alone and betrayed. He discovers that the quest for fulfillment leads only to silence and that, behind appearances, only disillusionment and solitude remain. | |

Since 2010, PERSEIDE has been offering a mix of rock, metal and American punk with big, catchy choruses tinged with a touch of electronic music. They were quickly spotted by the label “OrageRock” which produced them and had them tour in France, Europe and the United States as opening acts for groups like Soilwork, Betraying The Martyrs, Chunk No Captain Chunk!, Cancer Bats, Protest The Hero, etc. After maturing the project, these four childhood friends signed to the WormHoleDeath label in 2020 and released their first album, The Only Thing. This was followed by a series of concerts in Europe and France, including the PlaneR’Fest, Sylak Open Air, Panic Fest, BeaujoFest, and other festivals. The year 2024 is marked by their signing to the Victory Vision Agency label and the release of their second album, “PIECES”. PERSEIDE returns in October 2025 with Shadows, a new single which announces a future 3rd album to come… |
