Rising from the aftermath of many heroic battles is the great ANGUS McSIX! Now, following Angus’ brother, Adam McSix, stepping forth as their main character, the power metal supergroup is thrilled to announce the release of their new album on March 13, 2026 via Napalm Records.
Along with the announcement, ANGUS McSIX offers a new single! “The Fire Of Yore” bridges the gap between Manowar, Modern Talking, and Electric Callboy and features a legend of the German entertainment industry. Actor and musician Uwe Ochsenknecht (“Das Boot”, 1981) is featured in the accompanying official video! In ANGUS McSIX’s universe, he takes on the role of the mighty King, father to both previous singer Angus McSix and current hero Adam McSix.
The true metal hymn conveys Adam and his father discussing Angus’ cruel fate—and how to save the legendary hero from the ice block prison in which his nemesis, the Archdemon Seebulon, trapped him. The answer: METAL! Since Angus is also revealed to have no memory of his previous adventures due to a long fever, “The Fire Of Yore” cleverly introduces new lore to the ever-expanding ANGUS McSIX universe.
Luckily, Adam gains additional help on his brave journey to rescue his brother, at the hands of The Dwarf, the band’s new guitarist, introduced with this single. Behind the new character is none other than Jasmin Pabst, guitar influencer and stage heroine.
On the new album, ANGUS McSIX expands on their exaggerated, ironic style, their one-of-a-kind storytelling proving even more epic, absurd, and magnificent than ever. The band will embark on their very own headline tour right after the album announcement. More details on the album and pre-order will be announced soon!
Seeb Levermann on “The Fire Of Yore” and the collaboration with Uwe Ochsenknecht:
“‘The Fire Of Yore’ is one of my favorite songs off this record, though I love them all. It was amazing working with Uwe Ochsenknecht on the cliffs of Mallorca, being able to put the storyline together in such a nice way. We are also super happy to have Jassy, The Dwarf, on board now, while Adam has not found Thalestris yet. Jassy is an amazing person and a great guitar player.”
