Sweet Savage Releases New Studio Album ‘Bang’

Today, we at earMUSIC are proud to release BANG, the brand-new album from Northern Ireland’s metal legends Sweet Savage.

Formed in Belfast in 1979 by Ray Haller (vocals/bass) and future Dio/Def Leppard guitarist Vivian Campbell, Sweet Savage were part of the first wave of the New Wave of British Heavy Metal. Their cult status was further cemented when Metallica covered their track “Killing Time” on the B-side of “The Unforgiven.”

With BANG, Sweet Savage return with full force – fusing their aggressive, fast-paced metal roots with industrial textures and punk energy. The result is a powerful new chapter that channels the band’s early fire while propelling their sound into an uncompromising new era.

Joining frontman Ray Haller, Marty McCloskey (drums), and Phil Edgar (guitar) is none other than Simon McBride – now guitarist for Deep Purple – who contributed both guitar parts and production to the album.
