OUT NOW – WATCH HERE Acclaimed German rock band Blackout Problems celebrate the 10th anniversary of their breakthrough debut album Holy in 2026. To mark the occasion they have announced a return to Brighton, a city which fed directly into the record’s creation to perform the album in its entirety live for the first time since 2016. Blackout Problems will play The Green Door Store in Brighton on February 7th 2026. The show was put on sale last week and sold out in a day prompting an additional matinee show to be added. Tickets for the matinee performance are available here. Brighton birthed the Holy album artwork which features the iconic old pier, while the band also filmed the videos for singles ‘ONE’ and ‘Follow Me’ throughout the city and its shoreline. Regarding the shows Blackout Problems say, “As the 10th anniversary of our first full-length record HOLY approaches, we’ve been reminiscing about the time we all jumped in the van together to shoot the videos for it. We were excited on our way to Brighton – a place we had visited before – but we still had no idea what to expect from filming there. We stayed at a friend’s apartment right by the sea – front row view – which was absolutely beautiful. We shot several scenes, including the album cover, and dreamed about one day playing shows in the UK. Back then, that felt very far away. It actually took us a few years to set foot in the country again to finally play a show. Performing in a city like Brighton had always been one of our biggest dreams. Now, ten years later, as we celebrate the anniversary of HOLY, the first place that came to mind was – of course – Brighton! So we’re going back to where it all started to play the album in its entirety for the first time since 2016.” Following the release of their debut album Blackout Problems have consistently climbed the charts in their homeland with each new record. Their latest RIOT in 2024 rocketed to the Top 5 in the German albums chart as their fourth album proved to be their most successful yet. Blackout Problems have today (August 14th) released a live video filmed at Open Flair Festival 2025 for the performance of ‘GLOFS’, the collaborative single featuring Rou Reynolds taken from RIOT. The Enter Shikari singer joined Blackout Problems on stage for a searing performance of the song at the festival in Germany at the weekend. Watch the performance here. Blackout Problems boast over 30 million streams on Spotify and a fervent live fanbase for their powerful socio-political electronic rock which has seen them complete a number of sold out headline tours across the UK and Europe, alongside international supporting runs with the likes of Enter Shikari and Fever333.
