JAMES MORRISON ANNOUNCES THE ‘FIGHT ANOTHER DAY’ IN-STORE TOUR
FEATURING AN ACOUSTIC SET AND A SIGNING SESSION‘FIGHT ANOTHER DAY’ ALBUM IS OUT OCTOBER 3RD

The return of James Morrison is living up to the standards expected from a #1, multi-Platinum and BRIT Award winning artist. The single ‘Fight Another Day’ spent five weeks on the Radio 2 playlist after being premiered by Scott Mills, while most of his September headline tour sold-out months in advance. Now James announces details of the ‘Fight Another Day’ instore tour which commences on October 3rd – the same day that the album is released.

The in-store tour will see James play a series of acoustic sets in key record stores across the country. And James is an artist who has been renowned for stripped-back performances, which bring out the seasoned soul of his voice and his accomplished songwriting. Each event will also see James connect with fans in person for a signing session.

Tickets for each venue are now available HERE, with bundle options to add copies of the album on vinyl or CD. Given the speed in which his headline tour sold-out, expect these tickets to sell-out in no time too.

Further previewed by ‘The Man Who Can’t Be Loved’, ‘Fight Another Day’ looks set to be a new career highlight for James. Arriving six years after his previous studio record, ‘Fight Another Day’ is a collection inspired by difficult times and heavy emotions, but one that uncovers joy, hope and optimism for the future. His core of rootsy soul and pop addictiveness remains, touching upon influences both old (Stevie WonderGeorge Harrison) and new (Imagine DragonsAWOLNATION).

The album was entirely written or co-written by James, who also co-produced the record with his long-term collaborator Mark Taylor. His other co-writers include the two-time Ivor Novello winner Eg White plus Daniel MerriweatherConnor ReevesAndy Platt (Young Gun Silver Fox), Adam James and Kjetil Mørland.

James recently caught the public imagination with an impromptu performance alongside his daughter Elsie on the balcony of the Amalfi restaurant in Nailsworth, Gloucestershire. Attracting attention from shoppers and stopping passing traffic, it also prompted many to praise Elsie’s talents too.
