Lead vocalist Gage Rodriguez shares: ““Better Now” is about that moment we’ve all had—fresh off a breakup, drunk at a bar with your friends, pretending you’re fine but thinking, ‘I should call them.’ It’s emotional, but it hits hard.”

Rodriguez adds: “I wanted to take that feeling and build something sonically massive around it. We blended the emotional honesty of emo and rock with the energy and dynamics of EDM—future bass synths, a big halftime drop, even a guitar solo.”

Racking up over 5 million streams on Spotify with their creative and potent melodic post-hardcore, Like Ghosts have built their story through grit and graft since the release of debut EP To Feel Like You’re Drowning.

Cascading guitars and soaring choruses adorn the Texans’ soundscape, with singles such as “I Wish Things Were Different” & “It’s Gonne Be Me”, as well as a Pop-Goes-Punk style cover of Ryan Cabrera hit “On The Way Down” putting the band firmly on the alternative rock fan’s radar.

With a Vans Warped Tour appearance and supports for Sleeping With Sirens, Crown The Empire & Rain City Drive, Like Ghosts have made themselves know on the big stage.

Announcing their signing to Manic Kat Records with the release of “Better Now”, the quartet take the next step with a gripping and anthemic new single, that hones the best of the past and present of the genre.

Like Ghosts is… Gage Rodriguez (vocals), Noel Hernandez (guitar), Andrew Saenz (guitar), and Tyler Slatton (bass)
