20K Rio Unveils Powerhouse New Single, “Stand For Less”
Los, Angeles, CA — Modern-rock duo, 20K Rio, are sharing their attention-getting new single, “Stand For Less” via Orenda Music on June 13. The track follows swiftly behind the band’s newest tracks, “Honey I Don’t Wanna Know” and “The Flood,” showcasing a new era after their 2024 2nd EP Lost a Little.
“Stand For Less” highlights a dark-pop energy with addictive undertones. Vocals are smooth while lyrics are draped in honesty making for an enticing single. 20K Rio creates a signature sleek sound that is sure to please fans while drawing new listeners in.
“Sometimes someone can get under your skin so deep that you become willing to do anything to get back at them, even if it means that you’ll sacrifice your own well-being in the process. This song is exactly that.” 20K Rio says about the new track. “If The Weeknd made a rock song, it would sound like this. Mixing classic sounding guitar leads with modern heavy synths, and layering catchy R&B vocal melodies over rock drums, this song blends the best of the old and new in one.”
20K Rio has had a sudden spike in popularity, while at Coachella, Green Day’s Billie Joe Armstrong pulled lead vocalist, Tommy Lloyd, on stage to play “Good Riddance” with the iconic punk band. See a full interview on the experience via KTLA News.
