Nu-goth rising star HARPY has today unveiled the official music video for brand-new single ‘Born To Destroy’.  After taking the alternative music scene by force with her dominating presence, ‘Born To Destroy’, greets us as the seventh single from the seductive starlet.

Written with Sam Matlock (WARGASM, Bambie Thug, ASP) and Milkie Way of WARGASM and produced by Charlie Russell (Robbie Williams, Alt-J, Kylie, Vukovi, ALT BLK ERA), ‘BORN TO DESTROY’ sees HARPY break into the dance pop realm with this commanding and anthemic offering, that wouldn’t sound out of place in a vampire warehouse rave.

”If you need an explanation for this track.… if Lana (del Rey) was Born to Die for love, I’m Born To Destroy it”, claims HARPY. “This song is all about domination and power. A peek through the window of what it may feel like to submit to a creature that’s just there to use you, someone or something monstrous perhaps. And you know they’re bad, yet you still crave it. Hypothetically speaking, of course…”

HARPY burst onto the alt scene after debuting live on The Venom Tour supporting Wargasm in 2023 and has been weaving a seductive web across the alternative scene ever since. Dubbed ‘Goth Metal Mommy’ by listeners, her music is potent and sexually charged. Powerful feminine rage, taking inspiration from industrial icons like Nine Inch Nails, trance inducing dark techno beats akin to Boy Harsher, heavy musings reminiscent of Deftones and ferocious, provocative lyricism. Stand out tracks ‘Slaughterhouse’, ‘Medicine’ & ‘Not My God Anymore’ leading the charge, infecting all who stumble across them.

Boosting over 43.2 million views on Tiktok and support from respected media tastemakers, HARPY is finishing what’s been a big year on a high. With tours with the likes of Cassyette & Wargasm under her belt, a debut in America at LA Goth club Bar Sinister, and a season of festivals, HARPY will look to continue this domination into 2025.
