Boston hardcore mainstays COA (aka Colin of Arabia) are taking zero bullshit. Today, the band released Trauma Dump, a five song EP out through Triple B Records, and the band’s first new music in ten years. The EP was recorded with Alex Garcia-Rivera (of American Nightmare) at Mystic Valley Studios directly to analog tape – no studio magic, just raw music. The tracks are aimed to hit where it hurts, packed with gritty riffs and an aggressive and direct vocal delivery from Colin Campbell. Lyrical content ranges from calling out the “attention economy” to the addressing the ongoing opioid crisis in America, and just general struggles of life. COA have also turned Colin into a puppet in a video for swift opener, “15 Seconds Of Fame” which can be viewed HERE. With the release of Trauma Dump, COA continue to show they are band for the people, making music on their own terms. Trauma Dump can be streamed HERE and 7” vinyl is available through Triple B Records. | ||||||||||||||||
