NASHVILLE, TN (May 19, 2023) – Chart-topping singer/songwriter TYLER RICH revisits some of his biggest songs to date with reimagined versions of fan favourite tracks on his new EP UNPLUGGED IN NASHVILLE. “I love when artists release alternate versions of the songs you know and love,” said Tyler. “I revisited some of my fans’ favorite songs of mine and unplugged everything about them … starting from scratch. It was such a creative and fulfilling process giving all these songs a new identity for this project and I can’t wait for everyone to dive in and find out why!”

Amassing nearly half a billion career streams to date, Tyler sprinkles new magic across his three SiriusXM’s The Highway No. 1s including GOLD-certified “The Difference,” “Leave Her Wild” and “Better Than You’re Used To,” plus the title track to his recent EP, I KNOW YOU DO. Also highlighted is the namesake of Tyler’s 2022 headline tour “Thinkin’ We’re in Love,” enlisting rising singer/songwriter Alexandra Kay for the stateside duet of his Top 5 Canadian hit featuring one of Canada’s most successful bilingual singer-songwriters, Marie-Mai.

“‘Thinkin’ We’re In Love’ was such a huge song for me in Canada with Marie-Mai so I knew I wanted to dive into a stateside version with a duet partner in Nashville,” adds Tyler. “My fans on TikTok were relentless about Alexandra Kay and they weren’t wrong! We turned a driving Pop Country production, into a sweet and poetic rendition that I can’t wait for you to hear.”

UNPLUGGED IN NASHVILLE EP marks Tyler’s second project this year, following his I KNOW YOU DO EP produced by The Cadillac Three’s Jaren Johnston. The three-track collection puts the many layers of the heartfelt Northern California-raised, Nashville-rooted singer/songwriter on full display with the propulsive Country rocker opener “Good Enough,” easy romance meets complete acceptance on the title track and flirtatious fun closes it out with “Heaven Is Your Hometown.”

Up next, Tyler gears up for multiple appearances for the 50th CMA Fest in Music City kicking off on June 8 with a free headline show for the 27 Live Music Series at the Westin Nashville followed by a set at the Chevy Vibes Stage on June 11.
